Intel Wireless 7260 in Fedora 22

If you have a laptop with Intel Wireless 7260 (Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro for example) and the wireless displays a message like this "hardware disabled" this can help,

# sudo modprobe -r ideapad_laptop

And a permanent solution

# vi /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

# blacklist ideapad_laptop

Evolution freezes in "saving user interface"

Disable "Show the photograph of sender in the message preview" in

Evolution Preferences -> Mail Preferences -> Headers

This is a workaround to solve the problem for now.

Fedora 18 and SIS Driver

The SIS driver in Fedora 18 is broken, and the vesa driver is not an option, doesn't support more than 1024x768, and the X has a horrible rendering.

So, create the file /etc/X11/xorg.conf ant put this inside

Section "Device"
Identifier "Videocard0"
Driver "sis"
Option "NoAccel"
EndSection

This will disable the acceleration from the graphic card, but at least the desktop is usable again, until this problem is solved.
